Mangaluru: Residents of Mahakalipadpu area staged a demonstration on September 26, Wednesday demanding construction of a railway underpass at Jeppu Mahakalipadpu. The protestors alleged that the MCC has shown apathy towards their appeal since the past several years by not releasing funds for the project.

Railway Underpass Construction Action Committee leader Mohammad, Railway Users Advisory Committee member Ahmed Bava, Tulunada Rakshana Vedike President Yogish Shetty Jeppu and others took part in the protest.
