Mangalore: The residents of Tiruvailu ward coming under the Mangalore City Corporation limit has still not seen any development till the present day, CPI (M) secretary Sunil Kumar Bajal.
Addressing the protestors gathered in front of MCC on September 19, Monday, he said that thee MCC in order to make the Tiruvailu ward as city, must show the sign of development like concretizing or any other repair.
He also said that the BJP led government has done nothing for the development of the city. The ward is being facing drainage facility and the water that are supposed flow in the drain is flowing on roads.
The area also lacks foot path and the fund sanctioned for the city corporation for the development of 60 wards are being distributed to only 4 to 5 wards.
CPI(M) Unit secretary Gangayya, said that the MCC is bias in distributing its fund to all coporators of 60 wards. If all the people of under developed ward come on streets to raise their voice against MCC, then the officials can do nothing, he added.
