Bengaluru : Revenue Minister Mr R Ashoka distributed more than 1,000 food kits to milk suppliers, cable workers and house maids at MLA’s office in Padmanabhanagar constituency on Friday.

Later Mr Ashoka participated in a video conference meeting with the BJP office bearers of Shivamogga district on national security. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ashoka said, “National security is not a poll issue but the core issue for us. In fact, we will never compromise on national security. It is the core agenda of BJP. National security is one of the main roots for the formation of the BJP to protect our country. Whenever BJP is in power, national security has always been given the priority. This has been proven by the former PM Mr Atal Bihari Vajapayee and the current PM Mr Narendra Modi. When Mr Vajapayee was PM, India became a nuclear power. Through surgical strikes, Mr Modi has shown that we don’t mind crossing over borders in order to protect our borders.”
