Mangalore, August 19: The Right to Information Clinic and one day workshop on Right to Information Act was at ISD Hall on August 19, Thursday. The workshop was jointly organized by Federation of Education Resource Centres (SSKO), DK and Padi-Velored.
Speaking after the inauguration, J R Lobo, Principal of District Training Centre of DIET said that the citizen of any country must try to access information related on government schemes in every possible way.

Most of the time authorities of public information department do not maintain the records and do not provide basic information to the people.  Receiving public documents helps to fight against corruption.
RTI Expert, Anand participated as the resource person on the occasion. Vasanth, Vice President of Education Resource Centre was present.
