Bantwal : In a tragic road accident at Mani junction, a couple breathed their last after sustaining serious injuries on September 10, Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Yogish Bhandary (40) hailing from Boliyar village breathed his last at the hospital. While, his wife Pavitra (35) was killed on the spot and their daughter Prapthi (3) had sustained minor injuries.

It is learnt that, the trio were riding in Yogish’s bike coming from Uppinangady collided into a private bus moving towards Puttur from Mangalore.

Although three were rushed to the spot the couple did not respond positively to the treatment and breathed their last.
