Mangalore : A family traveling in a Maruti 800 moving from Mangalore towards Kasargod met with an accident near Karathakad in Kasaragod on August 3, Tuesday.
The car rammed into a stationary trailer, killing one passenger and injuring 5 from the same family.
The injured are Shafiq (23), his sister Safina (17), his wife Kubra (19) and children Asgar (14), Haneef (10), Haneef (5) and Zakariah (4) whereas Shafiq’s mother Maimuna (50), died on the spot.
The injured have been given treatment in cities Unity Hospital.
