Mangalore : The thieves have entered the house and vanished away with 15 pawans of gold jewelries in the peak hour at Pajiru Perna on Sunday, August 7.
The house belonged to Dennis Alphonse, who works in a gulf country. The incident occurred, when the other member in the house including his wife Doti and brother Everest went to attend a mass at Pajeer Church leaving behind 11 year old Denwar and sick mother Rosalyn.
Reportedly, it has been said that, Denis’s son Denwar was busy in watching TV, when the three strangers came and asked for Dennis. When Denwar informed that he was not there and went to watch the TV, one of them held Denwar and threatened him.
While other entered the house slowly, broke the cupboard and robbed the jewelries.
As soon as Denwar shouted, sich Rosalyn came out from her room, by then the thieves had made away stolen gold jewelries.
Sub-Inspector Shivaprakash and staff of Konaje Police Station along with finger print experts rushed to the spot. The investigation is on.
