Mangalore: In a press meet called at CPC Seemanth Kumar Singh’s office today, valuables stolen by Mohd.Rasheed (26) from Vaddadaguri, Harekala in Mangalore taluk on his arrest by a police team headed by Dy CPC Muthuraya and Panambur assistant CP Puttamadaiah , were exhibited and the incident of house-breaking done by the robber Rasheed on 20/21-01-2011 at night was related.
The thief had entered forcibly from the back-door of a house in Barua at night, in which Ms.Isamma lived, and removed gold ornaments from a Godrej safe and taken cash Rs.3,500, a Nokia mobile set, charger light and  a ladies watch by force. The gold ornaments (weighing 5 pounds and 3 grams) worth Rs.80,000 and other items worth Rs.7,500 were reported in a complaint made at Konaje Police station, under various IPC columns.

CPC Seemanth Kumar Singh guided the search activities, with ACP Puttamadaiah and Dy CPC Muthuraya leading the search party.
