Mangalore : The 11th inter-school roller skating competition organized by Roller Skating Club of Mangalore was held near Kadri Park on Feb 18 – 19 in commemoration of its 20th anniversary.

Over 230 students from 29 schools all over the district participated in this competition.

Sudheer Kannur and Roopa D. Bangera, corporators inaugurated the event, which comprised the rink race on Saturday evening and the road race in the early morning of Sunday near Kadri Park.

During the occasion, Sharanya Mahesh, the winner of the 14th Asian Roller Skating Championship medal, and 7 others were felicitated.
