Mangalore : The management of Rosario High School honoured Siddharth Puthran, a Std. VIII for winning a bronze medal in the hammer throw event at the national-level sports meet held in Ludhiana, Punjab recently.

Siddharth was honoured along with his parents Savitha Puthran and Shivananda Puthran by the Headmaster Aloysius D’Souza.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Siddarth has made his school proud with this medal. The dedicated staff members are giving continuous training for the students which will help tfor the welfare of the school.

Siddharth expressed his gratefulness to his teachers and parents on the occasion.

Apart from it, Rolson Pereira, who represented the state at the athletic event, and Anantha Prasad, who represented the state 200m and 400m races, were also felicitated.
