Udupi :  Nagaraj, a rowdy who is facing several murder and criminal charges against him, escaped the clutches of the Kerala police when they were escorting him  from Kerala in a train to Udupi to be produced before the Udupi Court.

It is learnt, he escaped at the Indrali Railway Station on August 28, Wednesday morning. He was even an accused in the case of murder of Vinod Shettigar, an under trial in Hiriadka prison. Nagaraj had once earlier escaped from  the hands of Haveri police too.

Police are on the look out for him.
