Mangaluru : A rowdy-sheeter Pinky Nawaz was attacked by a gang with lethal weapons at Katipalla on Wednesday, February 10.

The gang of attackers came in a Swift  car and attacked Pinky Nawaz and escaped.

Nawaz has been admitted to hospital with grievous injuries. His condition is said to be stable.

Nawaz is the prime accused in the murder of BJP worker Deepak Rao that took place in 2018.

It is suspected that Nawaz was attacked in revenge for Rao’s murder.

Deepak Rao (30) who was working in a mobile shop owned by one Abdul Majeed, was brutally attacked by lethal weapons by four miscreants who arrived in white Swift car.
