Mangaluru: A special train checking was conducted by on duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Karwar Station on February 07.

Under this drive, train number 56641, Madgaon-Mangalore Passenger train was thoroughly checked and found unclaimed 262 bottles of Goan made liquor.

The seized liquor was found in the general compartment and was weighing 66.36 litres consisting various brand and various sizes.

Approximate cost of the seized liquor is Rs. 17,000. The seized liquor was handed over to Karwar Excise Department.
