Bantwal: “For the reconstruction of 4 primary health centres (PHC) and 5 health sub centres and 3 community centres Rs 21 crore has fund has been sanctioned under NABARD project,” said district in-charge Minister Ramanath Rai.
He was speaking after laying foundation for the Manchi PHC new building construction work which will be built jointly by ZP, Mangaluru TP, Bantwal taluk health and family welfare department, Karnataka health practice development department and development project with a cost Rs 1.30 crore.
“Under Mani Bahugrama drinking water project, Manchi village also has been included. Tender for the project has been called. The construction work of 100 bedded hospital at Bantwal is under progress and it will be inaugurated in next month,” he said.
ZP embers Shahul Hameed, Chandrapraksh Shetty, Mamath Gatti, M S Mohammed, TP President Chandrahas Karkera, TP CEO Cyprian Miranda and others were present.
