Mangalore : The election squad sized sum of Rs 3.4 lac from a autorickshaw near Talapady check post conducting check up on vehicles.

Dr Prashanth, Assistant Election officer and his election squad of  Mangalore conducted the vehicle checking operation on 28 March. The autorickshaw had Kerala registration was on its way to Mangalore from Kasargod.

The money has been sent to the Income Tax department for further investigations.
