Bengaluru: State cabinet have decided to provide Rs 30 lakh as compensation for deceased DySP Kallappa Handibag’s family.

After the cabinet meeting speaking with reporters Law Minister T B Jayachandra said that the cabinet has decided to give Rs 30 lakh as compensation and a group ‘C’ government job for his wife.

During the assembly sessions CM Siddaramaiah has promised to consider Kallppa suicide case as a special case and to provide compensation to his family.

Kallappa Handibag had committed suicide on July 4 after facing allegation of minting money in a kidnap case.
