Mangaluru: A mobile phone shop  was burgled during the weekend curfew at Balmatta in the city here.

Mobile phones including iPhones were stolen from the shop. The total cost of the robbed items has been estimated to be Rs 70 lakhs.

The incident came to light on July 5 when the shop’s staff came and noticed the theft.

They soon informed the police who arrived at the scene. It was reported that the shop has been burgled in the past too.
