Mangaluru: “Bengaluru police have mentioned the name of Popular Front of India Bengaluru district President in RSS activist Rudresh’s murder case though it is proved that the murder was done on personal grudge,” said PFI DK district President Haneef Katipalla.
He was addressing the protestors in a protest on Thursday in front of DC office organised by PFI activists against the arrest of PFI Bengaluru district President Hashim Shareef in connection with RSS activist Rudresh’s murder case.
“PFI is fighting against the anti-social elements since many years. Just for the sake of it objects the ideology of Sangha Parivar, PFI leaders name has been mentioned in RSS activist’s murder case. RSS and BJP are trying to mislead the case by defaming PFI,” he said.
He further said that before this also many tried to defame PFI. PFI leaders name was mentioned in Shivamogga’s Manjunath’s murder case, Bantwal Harish’s murder case.
After the investigation two right wing activists were held for Harish’s murder case.
“A Vishwa Hindu Parishat leader was died after falling accidentally and the case was registered against PFI leader. Same way in Rudresh’s murder case also name of the PFI leader has been mentioned by the police after coming under pressure of BJP leaders,” he said adding that PFI believes in judiciary system and it is hopeful of coming out of all the allegations through legal fight.
