Bantwal : Rashtriya Swayam Sevak organisation activist Sharath Madivala (28), who was attacked by a group miscrent on July 4, breathed his on Friday July 7.

Sharath, a resident Kandur in Sajipamunnur on Tuesday as usual was working in ‘Udaya laundry’. He Suppose to leave his workplace for home on the night,at around 9.30 pm Bike-borne miscreants stabbed him and fled the spot.In help of locals immediatly he shifted to Tumbe hospiatal then to AJ hospital in Mangaluru. After battling for life he was uncooncious and treated in ICU.

Sharath alone  son of Taniyappa a resident of Kandur, Sajipamunnur,  He was shared good rapport with other shopkeepers in the neighbourhood.

Sharath’s mortal remains will be brought to his house in Kandur on Saturday July 8 morning, after which he will be cremated, said BJP leader Rajesh Naik.

The police have tightened security while Sec 144 continues to be clamped in the district as Sharath’s death news going viral on social media even before it was officially announced.

Sharath’s supporters, right-wing leaders and well-wishers swarmed the hospital on receiving news of his death.
