Mangaluru : The Dead body of RSS worker, Sharath (28) was taken in a procession from Mangaluru A.J Hospital hospital to B C Road on Saturday July 8 in presence of Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangha Pramukh’s, BJP leaders and other Hindu leaders.
Sharth who battles for his life for last three days finally announced dead on July 7 friday.
On July 8, huge number of RSS workers and general public gathered before the hospital and decorated his body and ambulance with flowers, garlands and others to send the body of the youth to his hometown, Sajipa near BC Road.
He lonely son who takes care of his parents and three sisters with the help of his laundry business. Sharath was an active member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was also providing food for the Anganwadi school students. Sharath was taking part in religious programmes and whenever he had time he used to help the needy people.
Security in Bantwal taluk has beefed up by the police deploying additional police forces from neighbouring districts of Dakshina Kannada. Police department has reportedly made necessary security arrangements near the residence of the deceased at Sajipa village as large number of people are expected to attend his last rites.
The body has been brought to BC Road in a procession in the presence huge crowd and amid tight police security.
Normal life stalled in BC Road as shops, commercial establishments and others shut by the police to prevent any unpleasant incident in the town.
Sharath was brutally attacked on July 04 by unknown assailants near his laundry shop at around 08.30 PM amid section 144 being imposed in Bantwal until July 11. Seriously injured youth was brought to Mangaluru for treatment on the same day.
BJP leaders Krishna J Palemar, Monappa Bhanday, Yogish Bhat, Bajrang Dal Sharan Pumpwell, HJV leader Satyajith Suratkal, VHP leader Jagadish Shenava, Harish Punja, Bhujang Kulal, Punith Kottari, Gopal Kuthar, Roopa D Bangera, Dr Bharat and others were present in the Hospital for his final journey.
