Mangaluru: Rashtriya Swamay Sevak Sangh (RSS) Mangaluru unit invited Carmelite priests and the Catholics’ of Mangaluru city for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi celebration which will be held at Sangha Niketan of September 5.
Mangaluru unit Sanchalak Dr Satish Rao invited Fr Elias D’Souza, Director Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, on behalf of the organisation.
After inviting the priests he said that RSS is working for unity and harmony in the country since the Independence. “Today I am here to invite you all for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration to be held at Sangha Niketan. Greatings of upcoming feast of nativity from RSS to all the Christians,” he said.
Addressing the gathering Fr Dominic, former director of shrine said that development of the country is possible only through religious harmony. PM Modi is also stressing out the same point.
“We all are brothers and sisters and children of Bharat matha. We wish a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi for all Hindu brothers,” he added.
Shrine Deputy Director Fr Prakash D’Cunha, Satheesh Prabhu, K Padhmanabh and others were present.
