Mangalore : The District Minorities Unit of JDS staged protest in front of DC Office on Jan 25, Wednesday against the provocative speech given by RSS chief Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat at Uppinangady Samajotsav.

Addressing the protestors, JDS Spokesperson M G Hegde said that today the students from other states are not ready to come to Dakshina Kannada to pursue their education due to several communal clashes taking place. This will not affect Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat since he will get his part of money from various politicians in and around the state. But it is the loss to the educational institution and the businessmen, who will lack students and customers.

He also said that the RSS is directly responsible for the birth of Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) birth in the state. He said that Former CM Yeddyurappa has completed all the procedure for destroying BJP party and in future BJP will not have a chance to come into the power again.

Dr Bhat has an attitude of questioning the presence of police and is also been disturbing communal harmony. He is responsible for the imprisonment of many people and the curse of their family will surely not go, he said. He must be arrested immediately, he added.

The citizen in the country belongs to various religions, but the matter must not be brought to street and must remain in our heart and house, he said.

JDS leaders like Yogesh Shetty Jeppu, Sudharshan Shetty, Habib Khader, Deviprasad Shetty, Azeez Malar and others were present.
