Mangaluru: “Right to Information (RTI) is an indivisible part of human rights. There is need of organised contention for the effective use of RTI to fulfil the intent of civil rights and democracy,” said All India Rationalist Association President Prof Narendra Nayak.
He was speaking as a resource person at Vikas Soudha in a programme related to RTI act on Saturday.
Many RTI activists shared their problem which they are facing from various departments while collecting the information. It is also decided to protest against the intentional harassment of the department officials, if needed.
