Udupi : Power Corporation Ltd has granted an aid of Rs 13 crore for the development of Mudarangadi, Yellur and Thenka Yermal villages under the CSR programme and the implementation has already begun as per information by Kishore Alva, Executive Director of UPCL.

On Thursday, the management at UPL distributed 20 automated garbage bins worth Rs 40 lakh to Palimar village panchayat. They will also donate Rs 3 crore each to Palimar, Belapu, Padubidri and Bada village panchayats in the next three years for rural development projects under the CSR programme.
