New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday (Dec 5) dismissed an appeal filed by lawyer Sirajin Basha, questioning the conditional bail granted to former CM B.S. Yeddyurappa by a High court Judge, 2 weeks ago, after his suffering in State Central Jail for 25 days.
The dismissal from Supreme Court has come like a protection shield to the ex-BJP CM, who is now under treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for a throat ailment, and exhaustion due to electioneering recently.
A senior advocate of Supreme Court, Gopal Subramanian presented the arguments for Basha in the SC, which heard all the arguments, but told him that what the High Court had done was quite in order, before dismissing the appeal forthwith.
Thus, S.Basha is now in hot waters himself, with a loss of face.
