Udupi : Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr Muddu Mohan, has been transferred in a surprise move and appointed as the director of Department of Agricultural Marketing in Bangalore on August 27, Wednesday.

S S Pattanshetty, Commissioner for Cane Development and Director of Sugar has taken charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Udupi on August 28, Thursday.

Reportedly, Dr Muddu Mohan, who was serving as the project director of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in Bangalore, was transferred to post of Udupi DC on February 28, serving the district exactly for six months.
