Mangalore: The Sannidhya residential school and training centre in Shaktinagar on Sunday organised a programme at Kadri Park at 5-30PM, by releasing balloons in the air for mentally retarded children, who came to gather on stage to expose their hidden talents and gaining the appreciation of Sunday ( April 8 ) crowds with their scintillating performances in the Park.

Suresh (JOB manager), V.V. Shetty (Rural sports organizer and Bothanatheshwar Temple trustee), J.S. Pinto, a builder, Mohd Kunhi (Yenepoya Group), and Prabha Kudva(G N Park trustee) were special guests of the day.

P. SethuMadhav Rao retired professor of NIT-K was felicitated on the occasion. Vasanth Shetty and Mahabal Maarla were on the dais.

V.V. Shetty expressed a desire to conduct a sports meet for the mentally challenged children at his Temple venue. Hems prepared by them were exhibited, and kept for sale as well
