Mangalore :  Fr Antony Serrao, Parish Priest of St Sebastian’s Church Bendur inaugurated ‘Saathiya Janapada Habba-2013’, a cultural competition for special kids held at St Sebastian Platinum Jubilee Hall, Bendur on January 11, Friday.

The event was organized by Saanidhya Residential School and Team Saathiya.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the special people must be loved more since all the people are not born with disabilities.

He also said that Saanidhya is doing a good job of taking care of the special kids and displaying their talents by identifying them.

Retired Professor Gopinath inaugurated the competitions. He said that even though he has been working on his wheelchair from 18 years, he never discouraged himself.

Only parents can feel the pain in rising up their special children, which needs courage and Saathiya helped them to display their talent.

Saathiya Founders Maxwell Lobo and Floric Lobo, Saanidhya Administrative Officer Vasanth Kumar Shetty, Mahabala Marla, Sachitha Nandagopal and others were present.
