Hyderabad: In the Obulapuram Mining Co., illegal mining case, CBI has given a clan chit to Home minister Ms. Sabita Indra Reddy, who was involved in the booty. Senior IAS officer Ms.Y. Srilakshmi who was jailed in the case, but managed to get a conditional bail from CBI court, made an appeal against the Home minister, but it was rejected on December 1. by the court.

Sri lakshmi in her bail petition had argued that she merely carried out the order of CM Rajshekhar Reddy’s government as directed by Home minister Sabita I Reddy. But, the prosecution found fault with the complainant Srilakshmi, as she could have prevented the Government order as an officer, but was accusing the lady Home minister unnecessarily.

The CBI court upheld the advocate’s argument on Thursday. But on Friday, the same court released Sri Lakshmi on bail.
