Udupi: “Minister H Y Meti should be sacked from the state cabinet on moral grounds by the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah,” said M Shobha Karandlaje.
Addressing the press personnel at district BJP office on Monday, she said that Meti has allegedly sought sex in return for a favour made by him at Shakti Soudha. When BJP MLAs were found watching porn in assembly, their post was snatched by the Cm.
“Siddaramaiah only demanded for the suspension of three BJP MLAs for watching porn in assembly. Now it is his time to show his moral responsibility. He is also yielding corruption in the state. His close aides were seized with crores of new currency notes,” she said.
She further said that the government has failed to tackle the drought in the state. CM is simply criticising Prime Minister for his mistakes. Proposal to release fund for the drought is not been submitted yet.
“Demonetisation has brought many positive changes in the country. Terroristic activities, Naxal activities and cross border infiltration have been curbed by the central government. Speedy printing of new currency notes will solve the problem caused as of now,” she added.
Further commenting on support price for areca nut she said “the central government has sanctioned Rs 200 crore support price for areca nut crops. It is released to CAMPCO.”
District BJP president Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde, former president Tingale Vikramarjun Hegde and others were present.
