Mangalore : It is said that former chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda was being sidelined in his own party to a great extent. Though he was said to be the likely choice for state BJP presidentship, it is said that the state BJP leaders have intimated the high command on the state politics dynamics and this is learnt to have made the party keep the decision at hold.
It is believed that the proximity which DV Sadananda Gowda enjoyed with the JD(S) leader and former prime minister Deve Gowda was something which BJP men could not take.
It is also said that it was owing to this reason he was neglected in the party. Though Gowda convenes press meets now and then both in the district as well as at Bangalore, it is said pretty meetings are held without taking him into confidence and without his notice.
