Mangaluru: Shri Esha Vittaldas Swamiji of Kemaru Sandeepani Math and Fr John Fernandes, former head of Christianity Chair at Mangaluru University were conferred with Sadhbhavan Samman presented by ‘Peace and humanity’, national level campaign organisers, on Friday at Mangaluru Town hall.

Speaking on the occasion Esha Vittaldas Swamiji said that it is necessary to light the lamp of love instead of burning the fire of jealous and other such elements.

“Dharma always says to love each other and only adharma brings conflict between each other. Violence can never beat peace, because peace is ultimate. Humanity based service is equal to serving the god,” he said.

He further said that the nature is very much precious to entire mankind and all should strive to save it.

Fr John Fernandes said that being honoured is secondary, primary thing is to serve the society as much as possible in our life span.

“Spreading awareness regarding peace and humanity is a noble thing and everyone should join hands with the organisers to make this successful. Let us all work for peace and humanity by staying united,” he added.
