Mangalore : Hundreds of devotees are visiting the Sri Venkatramana Temple at Carstreet where Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka rituals are held since February 1 to mark the first anniversary of the Punah Pratishta Brahmakalashotsava of the temple.
The festivities commenced on February 1 with the Maha Prarthana offered by Sri Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji, senior seer of Kashi Mutt Samsthan and his disciple Sri Samyameendra Theertha. Various rituals are also being held as part of the festivities. C Lakshman Shenoy, Trustee of the Temple, M Padmanabha Pai, President of the Renovation Committee and others were present.
An attractive colour calendar by GSB Infomedia brought out in connection with Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka was released by the senior seer of Kashi Mutt Samsthan. Suresh Kamath, Mangalpady Namdev Shenoy were also present.
