Mangalore : A job fair for students of government colleges coming under Mangalore University, was inaugurated at SDM College Campus on July 28, Sunday . The job mela named ‘Sahayog Job Fair-2013 was inaugurated by  RV Deshpande, State Minister for Higher Education and Tourism.

In his address, Deshpande stressed the need for educational institutions to maintain quality of education. This will go a long way in making the graduates employable. Job seekers should always update their knowledge in the respective areas.

Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala presided over the function.  He said the present day youth have enough job opportunites to choose from.

Hundreds of students took part in the job fair.
