Mangalore : The prize distribution ceremony of SPL Season 2-Football Monsoon Trophy 2014 was held in the Campus. Mr. Venkatesh, Regional Manager, The Hindu and Mr. Mahesh Prabhu, Director, Business World, were the guests on the occasion. They congratulated the participants and organisers of SPL Season 2- Monsoon Trophy 2014. Milagres First Grade College, Mangalore, are the Champions and Rosario College, Mangalore, are the Runners-up. Mr. Sheikh Shahid of Milagres First Grade College, Mangalore, is awarded as best goal keeper and Mr. Sheikh Mohammed Jasim is awarded as the winner of Golden Boot.

Dr. A. P Achar Director Dept of Business Administration Sahyadri college of Engineering and Management emphasized the need for action based learning where student not only learn but relish their experience for long time to come. This is precisely the very objective of SPL which has been achieved to a great extent.
