Mangalore: On the second day of the Gulf Dirt Track National Championship 2012, Sajeesh, a physiotherapist, bagged the first place under the Mangalore Class Motorcycles up to 165cc, 2 and 4 Stroke Category, while Dean Mascarenhas and Austin Mascarenhas bagged second place.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sajeesh, said that he had earlier participated in many races organized by the MRF, Super Cross in Coimbatore and Bangalore and practices every week but this track was very slippery.
Jagannath, the ACP of Mangalore city police flagged off the Gulf Dirt Track National Championship 2012.
Bijoy, the general manager of Gulf Oil, , Sports Craft chairman Shrikanth Karani and Sudhir B. K., the president of the Mangalore Motorsports Association, were also present.
The first round of the FMSCI National Championship was sponsored by Gulf Oil Corporation Limited, was organized in association with Mangalore Motor Sports Association and Sports Craft of Mumbai.
