Mangalore: Abu Muawiyah Ismail Kamdar in a religious discourse on Thursday(July 7) at Town Hall, stated that Islam(religion) taught how to live one’s lie a artfully as possible, and strengthens one’s lifestyle. The public lecture was organized by the South Karnataka Salafi movement under its city unit.
Kandar is from South Africa, and spoke of God and his relations with a believer(Muslim), which he described as “sacred”. The faith would be successful in this and the other worlds (unknown to man), he stressed.
Maulavi Imran spoke on knowing one’s Allah, in Urdu. A Bangalore Islami Trust chief, Umer Sharif, dwelt on what is Islam and answered it.
Fisheries Board chief BJP city leader Srikar Prabhu, and Unity Health representative Habeeb Rehman were present. Khamruddin Kirath recited Kuran lines. Aftab welcomed and guided the programme. A question and answer session featured as part of the event.
