Kundapur: After falling to the river, a sand mining labour lost his life on Wednesday in Kundapur.

The deceased has been identified as Ramu (40) of Uttar Pradesh.

As per the complaint filed in Kundapur police station, Ramu was taking the boat for the repair and accidentally he fell into the river.

But the locals are alleging that Ramu fell to the river while mining the sand and false information is given in the complaint letter.

Ramu is survived by his wife and six children.

Police are investigating the case as per the complaint registered.
