Mangalore : An aide of Bannanje raja, an underworld don was attacked y knives on Sunday, Nov 13 and died of stabbing wounds in a private hospital. The stabbing incident is the third in as many days.

Sandeep Shetty was a rowdy accused of murder and robbery cases in Puttur and elsewhere, besides collecting weekly ransoms(hafta) from rich persons, mostly Businessmen. He was attacked by Six man in a gang, near Someshwar railway crossing around 11 Pm night. Sandeep (27) was brutally hacked to death, with gang rivalry as a possible vause. At the time of attack, he was speaking on a phone near his mother-in-laws house. Police who rushed to the sopt, appear to have identified 3 of the 6 rivals in a gang.

On Nov 11 Murugesh and upendra were stabbed to death, and  on Nov13 auto rickshaw driver Ravindra was killed , CPC seemant K Singh answering pressmen’s queries, said there was no cionnection in 3 incidents of brutal murders.
