Mangalore: A 19-year Old boy, son of a policeman living in local Police Lines, has ended his life at home on Wednesday around noon(November 9).

The boy was identified as Sandeep, son of Police official Somashekhar working at Pandeshwar police station.

No reasons are available for the death, but Sandeep took an extreme step, when no one was around in his house.

He was found hanging by his family members, who had gone out but entered the premises only in the afternoon.

Sandeep had been a student of the University College at Hampankatta area of the city.

The body has been sent to Government Wenlock hospital morgue.
