“Sanju Weds Geetha” Kannada film is a clean entertainer
Bangalore : Not a remake, nor a dubbed picture, but a simple screenplay with gripping narration and lovely songs, neat cinematography and a pretty presence of Ramya. Director Nagashekhar in his comedy film softens had hearts while projecting a tragedy, unlike what he did in ‘Aramane’ some years ago.
Ramya steals the hearts of film-viewers, while kicking so much dust in the face of KFCC outside recently to get years ban and a waiver later on. Ramya dies on the screne here, after her ‘Amrutha Dhare’, an earlie fi,. Srinagara Kitty, a strange name fr an actor, is the hero who meets Ramya in his home town as Geetha. Her anger attracts him and he wants he partnership. Kitty shows it in a convincing but nad absorbing style. Geetha finds Sanju better than all othe boys she hated till then.
Geetha’s modestg had been violated by a psychopath Arun Sagar chages her on the wedding day with Sanju (Kitty). Sanju Attacks Arun in a chase through virajpet and kills him, gets arrested. Geetha is confined to her home, getting disillusioned. Doctors arrange he meeting with Sanju under police protection. But Geetha is missing in the hospital where she is under treatment. She is also pregnant, which adds to Sanju’s warries. The two could marry only in heaven!
Sinagara Kitty’s performance as a pensive person is good. Ramya makes her role worth watching considerable attraction to her is in her costumes. Minor characters are eye-aresting.
Satya Hegde behind the camera craft has captured Coorg beautifully. Jaasie Gift has 3 excellent tunes in his music. Bidar fort is well portrayed in one of the songs, ‘Gaganave—-“ with two more sung by shreya Ghoshal in full throat.
