Sullia: Demanding to withdraw the ongoing Yettinahole project, three days Sapta Kshetra Pancha Theertha Ratha Yathre was flagged off at Kukke Subrahmanya on Saturday.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel led the Ratha Yathre from the front.

Seers poured the water of Kumaradhara river into Kalasha and symbolically flagged off the Rathe Yathre.

Next three days the Ratha Yathre will travel through seven religious places and will collect the water of five rivers Kumaradhara, Neteavati, Phalguni, Shambhavi and Nandini to protest against the controversial Yettinahole project.

Netravati Rakshna Samyukta Vedike President Vijay Kumar Shetty, district BJP President Sanjeev Matandoor, MLC Capt Ganesh Karink many others participated in the Ratha Yathre.
