Putta Parthi: The Samadhi (resting place) of Sathya Saibaba who passed away on April 24, 2011 has been constructed in the Kulwant Hall in 3 months and followers from all over the world are making a beeline towards Puttaparthi to attend the unveiling Ceremony taking place today, July15. Those who could not get a last glimse(darsham) of late Baba in his mortal remains, are eager to be there to see the Samadhi, now fully constructed for Guru Purnima occasion.
Foreigners feel him “in energy”, if not in body, reaching the holy place from where he guided hundreds of Saisamaj branches and thousands of followers on the path of Truth, Peace, Love and Joy. Bhajans are going on there Vigorously, since morning this day, considered doubly auspicious as a Full moon day of great merit to devotees of a singing Guru.
The tomb is built with white marble (Sangmurmur) and some carvings done on it. People speak of miracle cures by Baba, and expect him to continue to heal the suffering humanity, like those of Mumbai bomb blasts this week, and families affected by them. The tomb will be a centre of attraction before long when Diseases increase in Andhra for Telenga and all over India otherwise against injustice.
