Mangalore: MN Rajendra Kumar, SCDCC Bank Chairman, has said that the Bank was chalking out programmes to ensure speedy disbursal of loan applications of farmers, in accordance to their demand.
He was presiding over a seminar on the revised NABARD rules with regard to loans under Mangala Kisan Card. The seminar was held at Canara High School Hall.
Rajendra Kumar said as there were several loopholes in the implementation of the scheme, the NABARD has suggested some measures which would benefit the farmers.
Prasad Rao, Deputy General Manager of NABARD and Prakash Rao, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative societies, gave necessary information.
Vinaykumar Soorinje, Director of SCDCC Bank, Raghuram Shetty, Kishan Hegde, Directors, M Gopalkrishna Bhat,in-charge Managing Director, BK Saleem Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies and others were present.
