Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has declared holiday for all schools and Pre-university colleges in Dakshina Kannada on Friday, December 20.

Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Roopesh issued the order  in the backdrop of protests and violence. DC also ordered to close all wine shops, bars, and restaurants during the curfew orders.

The Mangaluru Police Commisinarate imposed curfew under Bunder, Kadri, Urwa, Pandeshwar, and Barke Police station limits till December 22.
