Mangaluru : A private hospital staff died in a tragic accident, after he lost control of his scooter and collided with a tree, on Wednesday in Sharada Nagar, Madoor.

The deceased is identified as Nagesh (51), a resident of Madoor.

He was an employee at a private hospital, working as bus staff. The accident occurred while he was on leave, heading home after purchasing coconuts from Beeri market.

The incident was captured on CCTV. Mangaluru south traffic police ASI Yashwanth visited the spot and registered a case.
