Mangalore: A review was held at the level of SC/ST Mangalore Taluk today, at the office of MT Tahsildar C.M Manjunath, with Taluk level officials, Dalit leaders, and Ullal MLA U.T. Khader attending it.

Discussions were held, relating to a photo of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to be fixed on the wall of DCO, ownership certificates due to be issued to SC/ST beneficiaries, disregard shown to CRE cell by the concerned department, and police atrocities in general.

Exploited classes like Dalits and Koragas, led by their representatives, conveyed their misery to the elected MLAs in the meeting, about various unjust practices in vague by authorities, against the poor and downtrodden people of Mangalore Taluk belonging to SC/ST/OBC groups.
