Mangalore : The socialist democratic party of India (SDPI) organized a seminar called “Stop Politics of Terrorism” on Wednesday evening (Dec.4) at the town hall. SDPI District President Aboobakar presided over the meeting. SDPI State President Abdul Majeed Kodlipet inaugurated the seminar and told the audience terrorism in India was created by powerful political party that had ruled India for long years and not by any minority community is as alleged by them. These minorities had nothing to do with terrorism from outside India or with in India, he claimed.

Majeed alleged that hundreds of Muslim youth had been detained by a Police Raj in India and hidden away in various places as captives for purposes of ruling in India by these political parties. Neither PDP nor SDPI are ruling India or taking part in legislatures or both houses of Parliament all these years. Where is a question of letting loose terrorism under such weak circumstances he asked.

Muslims and Christians have become vote banks for the so called secular party congress and the communalist BJP in India so for, he told his listeners.

Majeed referred to the bomb blast cases of 2001 and 2008, and to the affidavits filed by the Gujarat govt officers in bomb blast cases and train accidents which are for from truth.

He accused the Govt. of detaining an IGP of U.P, S.R Dharmapuri, who pulled curtain of in certain criminal cases imposed on minority youths used as scapegoats in such criminal cases.

He attacked the Govt. at the center and elsewhere in the state, for branding Muslims as terrorist while calling Dalit as well as SC-ST citizens as Naxalites with in India for no proper reasons.

SDPI Kasargod District President N U Salam, National Secretary Ilyas Mohommad Thume among others were present.
