Mangaluru : The SDPI activist organaised “SP Office Chalo” rally from Clock Tower to SP office on January 15, Friday to to release its three SDPI activists arrested by the Belthangady Police.

Police stopped SDPI activists participated. However, as the police had set up barricades and ensured that the protestors did not reach the SP office, the protestors sat on the road and shouted slogans demanding the release of those arrested. They also demanded that the Belthangady SI Nandakumar be dismissed for the arrest of ’innocents’ in this case.

SDPI leader Shafi Bellare said, Until justice is provided and our demands are fulfilled, we will continue to protest and  strongly condemned the arrest of party workers in the case.
