Mangalore : The DK unit of the SDPI organised a protest in front of DC office on September 21, Saturday urging the government to cancel the Forms 9 and 11 of the

Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act (Taxes and Fees) which are at present vital during land dealings.

Anwar Sadat, SDPI state committee member, urged the state government to make rules simple during sale and purchase of land in GP limits in Udupi and DK districts.

He said even land conversion has become a tough job due to the existing rules.

Several SDPI members took part in the protest.
